Job summary

LCBC Church seeks a Benefits and HRIS Specialist to ensure accurate onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll for a 300-strong team across locations. You will manage enrollment, perform data integrity in the HRIS, and handle confidential employee information with care.

Responsibilities include educating staff on benefits, coordinating open enrollment, and ensuring compliance with ACA, COBRA, and FMLA.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of payroll and/or benefits administration experience preferred.
• Experience with a payroll system (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ACA, COBRA, and FMLA requirements.
• Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Experience supporting benefits enrollment and life-event changes.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs including health, retirement, time off, and other plans.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and confidentiality for payroll and benefits data.
• Process payroll for a multi-location staff and coordinate with payroll clerk.
• Coordinate open enrollment communications and employee education.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and related regulations.
• Serve as primary contact for benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
