Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent HR experience.
• At least two years of HR experience.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
• Ability to verbalize and write clearly with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and issue resolution.
• Present benefits information during weekly new employee orientation sessions.
• Administer employee benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations across medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement programs.
• Process and reconcile benefit premiums, invoices, and payroll deductions to ensure accuracy.
• Manage COBRA administration and leave-of-absence (LOA) benefit billing and follow-up.
• Audit benefit data and reports to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Support open enrollment, onboarding education sessions, and ongoing employee communications.
• Utilize HRIS systems (Workday) and MS Office tools to manage data and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Genesis policies.
