NorthPoint Development LLC in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Benefits Concierge Specialist to join our Human Resources team in person. You will serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits and help colleagues navigate medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans.

The role requires 5+ years in benefits administration, hands-on HRIS experience, and strong communication skills to translate complex benefits concepts into plain language.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits and benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of group health and welfare plans and ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA.
• Experience with benefits billing reconciliation and vendor management.
• Ability to translate complex benefits concepts into plain language.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits questions and guidance across medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
• Navigate claims issues, provider searches, prior authorizations, and coordination of benefits.
• Own benefits communications, onboarding, open enrollment campaigns, and life event guidance.
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors to resolve escalated employee issues.
• Support annual compliance activities including ACA reporting and CMS filings.
• Maintain benefits records, documentation, and a compliance calendar.
• Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and audit enrollment data.
