Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to manage enrollment, answer benefits questions, and handle insurance billing. You will maintain employee records, assist with payroll-related tasks, and support open enrollment across multiple sites.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or equivalent experience, with preference for Ultipro and HR certification.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations (ERISA, FMLA, ACA, etc.).
• Experience using benefits enrollment platforms and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
• Process insurance billing and vendor correspondence.
• Maintain employee records and payroll-related data.
• Support open enrollment and new hire benefits orientations.
• Assist with claims processing and disability benefits.
