Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs day-to-day, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, spending accounts, 401(k), wellness initiatives, commuter perks, and employee assistance programs.
- Process enrollments, disenrollments, and qualifying life event changes accurately and on time; update payroll deductions accordingly. Submit spending account enrollments and contributions to the vendor.
- Administer COBRA notices, track payments, and maintain enrollment records.
- Support the annual open enrollment process, including preparing employee communications, updating systems, and providing hands‑on enrollment assistance to employees.
- Assist with insurance carrier, vendor, and broker inquiries as directed. Support benefits audits, including non‑discrimination testing and health parity reviews, by gathering data and responding to information requests.
- Assist with 401(k) plan administration, including supporting advisory committee logistics and working with vendors and auditors on Form 5500 submissions as directed.
- Manage the year‑end 1095 process, including data preparation, review for accuracy, and distribution to employees.
Employee Experience & Wellness
- Participate in new hire orientation to present benefits information and assist employees with enrollment. Serve as a reliable resource for day‑to‑day benefits questions, providing clear answers and timely follow‑through.

Compliance, Reporting & Records
- Run HRIS reports to support recurring benefits invoicing, census data preparation, and manager information requests.
- Maintain a working knowledge of benefits‑related laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA. Share relevant updates with the HR team as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential benefits records and files. Respond to document requests from auditors and census requests from brokers, ensuring information is transmitted securely.
