Job summary

Mountain Air Cargo is seeking an HR Benefits & Compliance Administrator to manage benefits lifecycle, leave administration, and DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing compliance. The role includes open enrollment support, onboarding, COBRA, and reporting, with a focus on confidentiality and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), experience with benefits platforms/HRIS, and strong knowledge of FMLA/COBRA/ADA regulations, plus advanced MS Office skills for data tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience with benefits/leave compliance preferred.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and benefits/leave compliance required or preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT/FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations (49 CFR Part 40, 14 CFR Part 120).
• Experience with HRIS/benefits administration platforms.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs, leave-of-absence claims, and the DOT/FAA testing compliance program.
• Support open enrollment, new hire enrollment, COBRA notices, and benefits invoicing.
• Process FMLA and workers’ compensation claims; track leave balances and return-to-work dates.
• Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and random testing; liaise with TPAs and MROs.
• Assist with onboarding, recordkeeping, and HR administrative duties.
