Job summary

ETS Staffing is seeking an HR Benefits Specialist to join our team in an in-person role in New York. You will administer and enhance compensation and benefits programs, including union plans, analyze data, and ensure accurate payroll processing and deductions across entities.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR experience, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to learn new accounting software quickly. Excellent communication and analytical abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, or HR.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn new programs quickly.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain compensation and benefits programs, including union-based plans under collective bargaining agreements.
• Analyze compensation data, market trends, and internal equity to support competitive pay practices.
• Ensure accurate processing of wages, deductions, and benefit contributions across all entities.
• Support benefits enrollment, employee education, and communication initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to compensation and benefits processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Lead or participate in special projects related to compensation, benefits, and system implementations.
