Job summary

Zenith American Solutions is seeking a Customer Care Advocate to provide service to participants, beneficiaries, union locals, and providers regarding eligibility, benefits, and claims status. You will document inquiries and maintain accurate records in our systems.

In this role you will handle routine and complex questions, escalate when needed, and adhere to privacy requirements while delivering courteous, accurate information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or benefits processing.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge of assigned Plan(s) and effectively applies knowledge in all job functions.
• Provides written, verbal, or face-to-face customer service by responding to and documenting inquiries in accordance with Plan(s) benefits.
• Updates files, including documenting system notes of conversations or action taken.
• Processes and/or sends mailers or forms as requested by members and related to benefit/enrollment.
• Distributes communications related to regulatory requirements.
• Initiates Action Requests for adjustments to claims, retirement, or eligibility and follows up.
