Responsibilities

The Provider Liaison- HR Provider Services is responsible for providing excellent consultation, service delivery and question/issue resolution by serving as the direct liaison between employed and DHMF Medical Group providers and CommonSpirit Health Human Resources. In this key role, the individual will collaborate with leaders and other stakeholders to develop, implement and continuously improve the HR Provider Services function that demonstrates a culture of innovation, consultation, and single point service delivery for providers. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and development of a team of analysts and/or specialists that will assist the Provider Liaison in resolving provider questions/concerns in a single point of contact. The Provider Liaison will also maintain a consultative relationship with CommonSpirit Health divisions, system office, HR Centers of Excellence, and external parties to facilitate efficiency and demonstrate expertise in Provider Services processes while ensuring that HR Provider Services is a key partner in employee impacting projects.

  • Collaborates with direct manager, team members, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain an innovative and comprehensive strategy that supports all elements of provider onboarding, offboarding, retention, and question/issue resolution.
  • Key subject matter expert and leader in continuous effort to develop, implement, and maintain standardized processes and procedures to enable the fulfillment of the strategy; consistently looks for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Oversees and Leads the day to day activities of a team of analysts and specialists including quality assurance, serving as a point for escalated issues, training, feedback on accuracy and following standards, communication, and dissemination of day to day work assignments; reallocating resources and assignments within their respective analysts/specialists in order to meet SLAs and accomplish priority work. Actively facilitates an environment of growth, innovation, and flexibility.
  • Coordinates the design, implementation, and review of New Provider Orientation to provide a warm welcome to CommonSpirit Health and establish a consultative relationship with new providers and their leaders.
  • Serves as the direct liaison between providers (or their representative), the HR Provider Services team, and other HR functions and Centers of Excellence.
  • Empathetically intakes questions and concerns, coordinates resolution with Provider Services team members or other HR functions and communicates results to Provider or Provider’s leadership. Exhausts all reasonable options before transferring responsibility for resolution to another team.
  • Maintains a consultative relationship with CommonSpirit Health Divisions, System Office and external partners to advance and enhance service provided. Continually working for process improvements and efficiency as well as increased customer service. Defines need for audits and reviews audit results to maintain accurate data. Identifies and documents issues that impact Physician Services SLAs and makes recommendations for improvements. Provides consultation, technical advice, and expertise to leaders, providers and HR Business Partners.
  • Leads and/or participates in projects related to Provider Services.
  • Maintains a strong and collaborative working relationship with external partners, vendors, Medical Staff Services, and other stakeholders.
  • Provides consultation, technical advice and expertise in their area of focused specialty to leaders, employees, and HR Business Partners.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HR Management, Business Administration or a related field or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience directly supporting providers or a combination of provider support and HR business partner level responsibilities.
  • 3 Years of experience in leading others (directly or in a matrix environment) is required (Human Resources/shared services preferred).
  • Proven track record as a working leader with an emphasis on servant leadership.
  • Expertise in Infor Global HR, Lawson S3 and/or other HRIS systems.
  • Advanced analytical skills, consultative and communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers, managers, and staff, including the ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Knowledge and experience with productivity, meeting/exceeding customer expectations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Highly collaborative work style that develops and maintains effective and positive working relationships.
