You’ll gain structured training, hands-on experience, and mentorship, along with exposure to networking and community initiatives, including USI Gives Back. You’ll spend over 950 hours in training and real client work, building analytical capabilities across client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
• Proficient in Excel with data tables and basic analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with financial data to support client deliverables and reporting across business segments.
• Review insurance renewals and evaluate new business proposals to help clients make informed benefit decisions.
• Prepare market reviews, funding projections, and claims utilization analyses to evaluate plan performance.
• Review insurance contracts and funding arrangements to understand plan structure and cost drivers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities using analytical tools and internal resources.
• Support negotiations related to premium rates and benefit plan features.
• Turn your analysis into clear, client-ready summaries that highlight observations and key findings.
• Participate in internal strategy meetings to learn how client recommendations are developed and delivered.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring work is accurate and completed on time.
• Stay current on industry trends, legislation, and developments affecting employee benefits.
• Apply knowledge gained through training to real client work and projects.
