Job summary

USI Insurance Services is offering a 12‑month career development program for recent graduates to build a foundation in employee benefits, financial analysis, and benefit strategy. You’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to network across the organization, with a focus on client deliverables and cost drivers.

You will work with experienced professionals, participate in a mentorship program, and take on increasing responsibility as you develop knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Earned a bachelor’s degree within the past two years.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Excel for data tables and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Work with financial data to support client deliverables and reporting across business segments.
• Review renewals and evaluate proposals to help clients make informed benefit decisions.
• Prepare market reviews, funding projections, and claims utilization analyses.
• Review contracts and funding arrangements to understand plan structure and cost drivers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities using analytical tools and internal resources.
• Support negotiations related to premium rates and benefit plan features.
• Turn analysis into client-ready summaries highlighting observations.
• Participate in internal strategy meetings to learn how recommendations are developed.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Stay current on industry trends, legislation, and developments affecting employee benefits.
