Job summary

Christy Industrial Holdings seeks an Employee Benefits Advocate to help employees understand and maximize their benefits, answer questions, and assist with enrollments. Based onsite with some remote work and occasional travel within the St.

Louis metro area, the role handles vendor coordination, audits, documentation, and compliance in collaboration with HR and finance. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, protects confidentiality, and stays organized while supporting benefit programs

Qualifications

• Strong communication and empathy for helping people understand benefits.
• Ability to protect confidentiality in sensitive employee conversations.
• Solid organizational and time‑management skills; handle multiple requests.
• Familiarity with benefits administration concepts (medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k)).
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for employee benefits questions and explain eligibility and coverage.
• Support enrollments for new hires, life events, open enrollment, COBRA, and terminations.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and payroll to resolve benefits issues and update data.
• Meet with employees to educate about benefit programs and maximize options.
• Audit benefit invoices and data reports to identify discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain benefits materials and intranet content to keep information accurate and clear.
• Assist with compliance and reporting deadlines in partnership with finance/HR.
• Contribute to other benefits or HR projects as programs grow.
