Job summary

USI Insurance Services in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a coordinating professional to manage day-to-day customer service and support our internal service team. You will ensure new business, renewals, and broker letters meet carrier requirements, acting as a liaison between carriers and internal staff.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, assisting with quotes and renewals, managing follow-up communications, and maintaining client data with accurate workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee benefits experience or equivalent in a group benefits environment.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate administrative and data entry skills.
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor internal staff on products and processes. Assist with onboarding of new team members.
• Assist with quoting renewal alternatives and new business.
• Provide internal staff with follow-up communication. Includes approvals for Brokers on plan changes and open enrollment issues.
• Provide renewals to appropriate Brokers.
• Respond to carriers, internal staff, and/or broker questions. Assist with claims and billing problems.
• Update client database on an ongoing basis. Create and maintain case files of critical client information based on implemented workflows.
• Assist with training Brokers.
• Communicate regularly with management and team members on all aspects of administration.
• Coordinate with internal team to ensure service and turn-around times meet Emerson Rogers standards.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with carriers and internal staff.

• Knowledge of Health and Ancillary plans, carriers, and quoting abilities preferred.
• Strong attention to detail. Efficient and accurate administrative and data entry skills.
• Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel. Includes experience with formatting and formulas.
