Job summary

Loenbro, LLC in Westminster, CO, is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage day-to-day benefits programs, ensure accurate enrollment, and support employees with health, retirement, leave, and wellness benefits, partnering with HR, payroll, and external vendors.

The role handles enrollment processing, records maintenance in HRIS, compliance monitoring, and open enrollment activities, while delivering exceptional service to staff and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and document control discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and wellness.
  • Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and benefit terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records within HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage, claims, and enrollment processes.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment activities, including employee communications and system updates.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and work with payroll to ensure accurate deductions.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, FAMLI, ADA accommodations, and other leave programs as applicable.
  • Prepare reports, audits, and documentation related to benefits administration.
  • Support the development and communication of benefits policies, procedures, and educational materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.

Job Summary

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, compliance with applicable regulations, and a positive employee experience. This role serves as a key resource for employees regarding health, retirement, leave, and wellness benefits while partnering with Human Resources, payroll, and external vendors.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and document control discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be Bilingual

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of HR administrative experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
  • Working knowledge of labor compliance, payroll practices, and employment law.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Benefits platforms.
