The Account Manger is responsible for retention of cobroker accounts by providing services and support for partnered agencies customers. Works closely with the partnered agency their producers and customers to maintain an understanding of the evolving market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Represent Company services in a positive and professional manner to ensure continued sales and Company growth by developing positive business relationships with clients.
  • Maintain a good understanding of the Companys products and processes and how clients interact with these products and processes.
  • Develop increasing knowledge of insurance industry markets products and legal environments to provide a valueadded service to clients.
  • Provide information on carrier administrative procedures and product availability and direction in selection of appropriate group products.
  • Conduct group meetings / webinars to further educate our Customer base on the services we provide.
  • Provide routine followup in on service issues and renewals.
  • Listen to the client ideas resolving conflicts solving problems and providing timely feedback to the client.
  • Work renewal and market groups in order to obtain best products for them.
  • Actively participate in team meetings providing input to contribute to the teams overall success in achieving customer satisfaction.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in a related selling or telemarketing environment (required)

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS

  • Insurance Producers License (preferred)

  • Communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel both verbally and in writing.
  • Read and comprehend carrier plan features benefits and underwriting guidelines and Company guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Determine when issues need to be escalated to a higher level.

  • Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of TIH Insurance : All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of TIH Insurance offering the offers medical dental vision life insurance disability accidental death and dismemberment taxpreferred savings accounts and a 401k plan to teammates.
