The Family Support Division is seeking applications for the position of Benefit Program Technician. This position will be located in the Jasper County Child Support Office at 1110 7th Street, Joplin, MO.

Position Overview

As our Benefit Program Technician, you will serve Missouri residents by assessing their Child Support needs through phone calls and in-person interactions. You will assist and guide them through establishing paternity orders and making or receiving child support payments. This position offers a consistent and structured work schedule with a generous leave benefit to support work/life balance.

Daily Responsibilities

1. Answer phone calls regarding our programs and resources.
2. Distribute information as necessary.
3. Scan and index received information.
4. Enter data into our computer systems accurately.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Customer Service experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Personable, compassionate, and non-judgmental attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills, typing skills, and attention to detail.
