The State of Missouri's Family Support Division is seeking a Benefit Program Technician for the Fayette Resource Center in Fayette, MO. You will help Missouri citizens receive food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance to live safe and healthy lives.

You will determine initial and continuing eligibility, interview clients in person and by telephone, and prepare summaries as part of the benefits workflow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR have a Bachelor’s Degree.

The Family Support Division is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Technician. This position will be in the Howard County/Fayette Resource Center based at 103 Furr St, Fayette, MO.

As our Benefit Program Technician you will help Missouri citizens to receive food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy and productive lives.

Every day you will determine initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for these services, interview clients in person and by telephone, prepare summaries and much more.

In order to succeed in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR have a Bachelor’s Degree.

To thrive in this role, you must be personable, compassionate and have a non-judgmental attitude.

Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
