Position Details

The Family Support Division is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Associate/Technician. This position will be located at the Mound City Resource Center, 1423 State St., Mound City, MO.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Benefit Program Associate: Assist Missouri residents by assessing their needs and guiding them through applying for public assistance programs. Responsibilities include answering questions, distributing information, scanning and indexing documents, and entering data into eligibility systems.
2. Benefit Program Technician: Help citizens receive food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance. Duties include determining eligibility, interviewing clients in person and by phone, and preparing summaries.

Qualifications

• Benefit Program Associate: High School diploma or equivalent plus 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Benefit Program Technician: At least 4 years of customer service experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
