The Family Support Division is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Associate/Technician. This position will be located in the Cape Girardeau Resource Center at 3102 Blattner, Cape Girardeau, MO.

Benefit Program Associate ($36,515.52 annually, $1,521.48 semi-monthly): You will serve Missouri residents by assessing their needs when they seek assistance and guide them through applying for public assistance programs.

Benefit Program Technician ($38,887.92 annually, $1,620.33 semi-monthly): You will help Missouri citizens receive food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance by determining eligibility, interviewing clients, and preparing summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Benefit Program Associate: High School diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Benefit Program Technician: At least 4 years of Customer Service experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.

Note: Lack of post-secondary education will not be the sole reason to deny consideration.

Ideal candidates are personable, compassionate, and non-judgmental.
