Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is hiring for a Benefit Development Specialist to analyze, design, and monitor health benefit offerings while ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves leading benefit development activities, collaborating with product, actuarial, and marketing teams, and delivering presentations to stakeholders.

The position requires five years of experience in benefit administration and a strong knowledge of health insurance regulations, with opportunities for remote/hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field with at least 5 years in benefit administration or related roles.
• Knowledge of health insurance industry, benefits design, compliance.
• Ability to analyze data, gather info, and make recommendations.
• Experience with report preparation and policy writing; ability to interpret statistics.
• Experience with AI tools highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing benefit development activities and audit contracts for compliance with state and federal laws.
• Track and present regulatory updates to Product Platform Team and respond to regulators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor benefit activities.
• Lead Medicare benefit design bid submission to CMS for the Medicare PPO line.
• Analyze competitive benefit trends and communicate implications to management.
• Prepare and deliver benefit presentations and respond to RFP/RFI proposals.
• Provide direction to team and foster a positive, productive work culture.
