Our goal is to ensure companies pay the correct amount to the correct carriers for their employees.

The collection, processing, and reconciliation of employee benefits data and carrier invoices are typically complex and costly. Our technology and services simplify these processes for businesses.

Beneration is a fast-growing startup with clients ranging from major national brands to small employers. We are investing in developing the next generation of our software platform.

We seek a data-oriented, self-starting Benefits Data Analyst to join our team. The role involves collecting health insurance invoices, ingesting benefits administration data, and preparing for analysis against carrier invoices. The ideal candidate is passionate about data and thrives in a team environment. Responsibilities will expand into technical implementation and automation as you grow.

Responsibilities
  1. Collect health insurance invoices and convert data for use in Beneration’s software.
  2. Import client Benefits Administration (HRIS) data into our proprietary platform for comparison against carrier invoices.
  3. Generate reports on employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Analyze benefits data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement areas.
  5. Assist with technical onboarding of new clients and during renewals.
  6. Partner with client-facing teams for advanced training and support.
  7. Collaborate with RPA teams to automate data tasks.
  8. Communicate with carriers and brokers to ensure timely invoice receipt.
  9. Provide feedback to the product team for software improvements.
  10. Troubleshoot reporting and delivery issues with internal teams and clients.
  11. Maintain process documentation.
  12. Stay informed on industry trends and regulations.
  13. Participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analysis, Finance, HR, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years in a data analysis role within employee benefits or HRIS domain.
  • Strong skills in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using Excel, SQL, or BI platforms.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and benefits software is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with RPA technologies is a plus.
  • A cover letter describing your experience, interest, and superpower is required.
