Job summary

Capstone Search Group, an insurance recruiting firm, seeks an expert in benefits administration for a high-autonomy, SME role handling enrollment, eligibility, implementation, and EDI feeds for mid-sized clients.

You will work with HR contacts to optimize processes, configure systems like Employee Navigator, ADP, and Paylocity, and partner with carriers to resolve issues on a hybrid schedule in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in benefits administration.
• Experience with HRIS and benefits platforms (Employee Navigator, ADP, Paylocity).
• Certifications CEBS, GBS, HIA, or PHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate enrollments, terminations, qualifying events, status changes, and dependents verification.
• Provide guidance on eligibility, ID cards, benefits, and carrier escalations.
• Collaborate with carriers/vendors to resolve claims issues and client inquiries.
• Coordinate with client HR contacts for best practices and efficiencies.
• Configure systems for new clients and verify accuracy through testing.
• Submit changes to carriers and assist with post-renewal activities including billing audits and data feeds.
• Manage workflows to communicate timelines and deliverables to stakeholders.

Job description

This is an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic team that provides world-class client service to an assigned book of business. Focus will be on benefit administration for mid-sized companies in a variety of job duties that support everything from eligibility to enrollment to implementation and EDI feeds. Strong HRIS technology background is going to be key to success in the role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex platforms to deliver results as a true subject matter expert. You will be relied upon to perform at a high level and with a lot of autonomy.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Help facilitate enrollments, terminations, qualifying events, status changes, and dependent verification
• Provide guidance on eligibility, ID cards, benefit questions, and carrier escalations
• Partner with carriers and vendors to resolve claims issues and address daily client matters
• Work with HR contacts at clients for best practices and operational efficiencies
• Help build and configure systems for new clients and conduct testing to confirm accuracy
• Submit changes and updates to carriers and assist with post-renewal activities including billing audits and feed/file reviews
• Manage workflows to communicate timelines, deliverables, and expectations to both internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• 7-10 years of experience working within benefits administration, preferably from a competitor in the space
• In-depth understanding and experience with HRIS and benefit administration platforms such as Employee Navigator, ADP, and Paylocity
• Additional industry certifications (CEBS, GBS, HIA, PHR)

Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

$85-100,000 + full benefits package + hybrid schedule
