Job summary
SITECH Southeast Texas is seeking a Bench Technician to diagnose, repair, test, and calibrate advanced construction technology equipment at the Tomball, TX shop. You’ll work on Trimble GPS/GNSS receivers, optical total stations, lasers, and machine control components, performing precise diagnostics and repairs.
Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics repair experience, circuit-board diagnostics, and the ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical cert in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Robotics or Mechatronics.
- 2+ years hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic systems, circuit boards, electro-mechanical assemblies, or precision sensors.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Repair and calibrate Trimble and other construction-technology equipment.
- Test and calibrate GPS/GNSS receivers, optical total stations, lasers, and radio devices.
- Document repairs and parts usage in service systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe repair workstation and inventory.
