Job summary

SITECH Pacific is seeking a skilled Field Technician to install, support, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced Trimble Machine Control Technology for the heavy construction industry in Riverside. You will provide onsite support, perform preventive maintenance, and lead system installations with training for customers.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, ability to read schematics, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment, hydraulics, machine control, or GPS technology preferred.
• Experience with Trimble or similar construction technology solutions preferred.
• Ability to obtain MSHA certification.
• Must complete site-specific training and pit driving requirements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Trimble Machine Control Technology and related construction technology systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on technology equipment and ensure systems are maintained according to customer agreements and service requirements.
• Provide onsite customer support, technical assistance, and repairs for digital and analog electronic components, electrical systems, wiring, and related mechanical systems.
• Lead technology system installations, including equipment setup, testing, calibration, and customer training.
• Diagnose and resolve basic electrical, mechanical, and technology-related issues in the field.
• Read electrical schematics and apply basic circuit theory to troubleshoot equipment.
