Job summary

SITECH-Tejas in San Antonio is seeking a Technology Specialist I to install, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS, laser, and UTS systems on heavy equipment. You will train customers on survey infrastructure products and collaborate with various teams to ensure optimal performance.

You will model the company values, troubleshoot complex systems, and continually improve technology solutions while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in Survey, Auto, or Diesel Mechanics preferred.
• Experience with machine control products and infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS, UTS, and laser systems on heavy equipment.
• Train customers on survey infrastructure products and machine technology.
• Promote and apply VBL values and collaborate with internal/external resources.
• Diagnose electrical, CAN, and hydraulic systems and document processes.
• Use software to update customer files and verify data consistency.
• Work with multiple departments to meet customer needs and resolve issues.
• Provide on-site installation, measurements, calibrations, and testing.
• Maintain safety policies and attend to periodic rotations as needed.
