Job summary

ID Technology LLC is seeking an experienced Bench Technician to support our machinery manufacturing department. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic and mechanical equipment, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

You will also assist with assembly tasks and participate in continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include evaluating repair needs, performing in-house repairs, and ensuring accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronic technology, mechanical technology, or related field preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with electronics, mechanical, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, datasheets, and written work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in a timely manner.
• Evaluate repair needs, prepare cost estimates, and recommend repair or replacement.
• Monitor in-house bench repairs for turnaround time and quality.
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper function before return to production or customers.
• Complete repair documentation, service records, and parts usage accurately.
• Support machinery assembly and production work when repair volume allows.
• Install, adjust, and assemble mechanical and electronic components per drawings.
