Job summary

Latitude AI is seeking a Bench Technician Associate to support installation, upgrades, and engineering changes for bench hardware and software. You will perform advanced diagnostics and assist with end-of-line commissioning for daily bench fleet operations.

The 12-month contract involves cross-functional collaboration, strict safety procedures, and hands-on wiring harness work across multiple sites, with opportunities to document and track bench health.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and wiring harnesses for bench environments.
• High School Diploma or GED with two years of employment experience; degree preferred.
• Able to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Travel up to 20% for trainings and meetings.
• Experience in a professional work environment emphasizing safety, procedures and testing.
• Strong interest in technology and ability to adapt to changes.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with cross functional teams on advanced architecture, sensor and compute control systems.
• Follow provided work instructions such as tech papers, schematics, 2D and 3D prints, cut sheets, sample harnesses.
• Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses from schematics, using hand tools and proper techniques.
• Validate signal path, network functionality, configuration management and scheduling mechanisms across sites.
• Work individually or in small teams to complete daily triage and engineering requirements.
• Document configuration management, diagnostic and triage events and bench health using various systems and tools.
• Track inventory of project parts and supplies.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace.
