Job summary

Latitude AI, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, is seeking a Bench Technician Associate to support installation, upgrades, and engineering changes for bench hardware and software across the fleet.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, triage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure bench readiness and reliability. This 12-month contract may involve travel up to 20% and requires strong wiring and hardware skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; two years of related employment experience.
• Ability to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for trainings and team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with cross-functional teams on architecture, sensor and compute control systems.
• Follow work instructions, schematics, 2D/3D prints and cut sheets.
• Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses from schematics.
• Validate signal paths and network functionality across sites.
• Document configuration management and diagnostic/triage events.
• Track inventory and maintain bench health; keep workspace organized.
