Job summary

ImpactLife is seeking a Processing Laboratory Bench Tech to ensure the delivery of quality blood products by testing blood samples and performing quality control testing. This full-time position runs on 2nd shift, Tuesday through Saturday, with rotating holidays and on-call responsibilities.

You will work in a detail-oriented, team-based environment requiring strong communication and physical stamina, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Very detail oriented with great accuracy.
• Great communication skills, and a team player.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical science highly desired; MT/MLS certification (with ASCP preferred), or MLT.

Responsibilities

• Test blood samples and perform quality control testing.
• Ensure delivery of quality blood products to communities served.
