Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking an Apprentice Jeweler in Tacoma, WA, with a growth path toward a Bench Jeweler role. You will begin with administrative tasks, polishing, stone setting, waxing, fabrication, casting, and custom design.

As you advance, you’ll take on intricate repairs, CAD/CAM work, and stone setting, contributing to a customer-first experience in custom jewelry design and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years Bench Jeweler (or relevant) experience with fine metals.
• Passing a qualified bench test.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service minded with high workmanship standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time 40-hour week with seasonal overtime.

Responsibilities

• Begin as an Apprentice Jeweler performing administrative tasks, polishing, setting stones, waxing, fabricating, casting, and creating custom designs.
• Progress to a Bench Jeweler role involving intricate repair, CAD/CAM design work, and stone setting.
• Work in a promote-from-within environment delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
