Job summary

Kj’s Market in Johnsonville, SC seeks a dedicated deli department supervisor to lead staff, ensure polite guest service, and drive sales and inventory standards. This role focuses on maintaining product quality, sanitation, and adherence to company programs.

You will train and supervise deli team members, manage labor and scheduling, and perform product prep, receiving, ordering, and stocking to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department employees achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.
