Floco Foods in Johnsonville, SC, is seeking a deli/bakery team member to deliver friendly customer service and support daily operations. You will help maintain product quality, inventory, and sanitation while assisting guests and staff.

• Ensure product quality meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to deli staff.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department staff.


• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.


• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.


• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.


• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.


• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.


• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department employees achieve satisfactory performance standards.


• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.


• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.


• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.


• Performs PA announcements.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.


• Ability to work well with others.


• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.


• Ability to read and understand information and direction.


• Knowledge of deli operations.


• Ability to supervise people including training and development.


• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.


• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.


• Must be at least 18 years old.


• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.


• Ability to communicate effectively with Store Manager and Merchandiser.


• Ability to work well with computers.
