Job summary

Ammega Group in Reading, PA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the assembly line from raw materials to finished belt, ensuring safety and quality programs are followed and continuously improved.

You will train, coach and support assemblers, schedule production boards, release orders, and coordinate with other departments to meet daily goals while promoting an ongoing improvement culture. Strong leadership and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience in supervisory role and/or proven leadership competency.
• Experience or proven ability to manage multiple employees.
• Must be able to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the assembly line from raw materials to finished belt.
• Trains, coaches, and supports the assemblers to ensure their line is properly equipped to complete daily orders.
• Evaluates the efficiency of employees and makes suggestions for permanent hire.
• Performs any other tasks required to ensure the departments goals are met as directed by management.
• Schedule and maintain production boards on all assembly lines.
• Approves and follows expedites through entire assembly process.
• Release orders for assembly.
• Ensures all line barriers are promptly addressed.
• Works directly with other departments within the plant.
• Encourages Continuous improvement culture.
