Job summary

Teach For America is seeking a Community Conversation Facilitator in Rhode Island to lead belonging-focused conversations with cohorts of 1st and 2nd year corps members on Saturdays.

The role requires 3+ years in professional work with belonging initiatives and 2+ years of ECE-12 teaching experience, with in-person facilitation on 11/7/26 and 3/20/27. Hourly pay tiers from $25.68 to $30.29 are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional work experience with belonging work with adults.
• At least 2 years of ECE-12 teaching experience with demonstrated student success.
• Exemplary experience in belonging facilitation with adults.
• Belief that people can learn, grow, and change.
• Commitment to ongoing learning.
• Deep self-awareness.
• Experience working across various lines of difference.

Responsibilities

• Internalize and prepare for conversations/meals, including model reflections.
• Attend 1–2 hours of training and rehearsal.
• Facilitate the conversations/meals.
• Spend 30–60 minutes to debrief the conversations/meals.
• Must be available to facilitate both dates in person.
