Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is hiring a friendly Bellperson for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort on the boardwalk. You will assist guests with luggage, explain facilities, and help with directions and questions.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, hotel experience is preferred, and a clean driving record. This on-site role offers competitive benefits, including health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests and respond to questions.
• Ability to drive vans, limousines, and automobiles with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift/move luggage up to 75 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Show guests to rooms and assist with luggage.
• Explain hotel facilities and hours of operation to guests.
• Check luggage for day and overnight guests.
• Maintain lobby and bell stand areas in a clean, organized state.
• Greet guests and deliver valet messages to guest rooms.
• Assist with small duties as needed and ensure guest questions are answered.
