Job summary

The Luce Hotel in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a friendly Bell Attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, and provide information about the hotel and local area.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage loading/unloading.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide information about hotel amenities.
• Provide directions and recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, activities, and transportation.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and questions.
• Communicate guest needs with Front Desk and other departments.
• Assist with transportation arrangements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel entrance and lobby area.
• Assist with deliveries, luggage storage, and other guest service needs as assigned.
• Protect guest belongings and handle luggage with care and professionalism.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow hotel grooming and service standards.
• Create positive guest interactions by anticipating needs and looking for opportunities to exceed expectations.
• Work as part of a team to provide consistent and personalized service throughout the guest experience.

Description

As a Bell Attendant, you will be one of the first and last team members our guests interact with, helping create a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience throughout their stay. You will assist with luggage, provide helpful information about the hotel and surrounding area, and make sure each guest feels genuinely welcomed and cared for.

This role is an important part of creating a smooth and personalized guest experience. You will work closely with the Front Desk and other hotel departments to respond to guest needs, communicate requests, and provide the high level of service expected in a full service hotel environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner upon arrival and departure
• Assist guests with loading, unloading, transporting, and storing luggage
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide information about hotel amenities and services

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests from a variety of backgrounds. You should enjoy providing personalized service, be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and have a genuine desire to help others.

Previous hotel, resort, hospitality, or guest service experience is helpful but not required. We value strong communication skills, a positive attitude, teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to go the extra step for our guests.

This is an active position that requires standing and walking for extended periods, working both indoors and outdoors, and regularly lifting and transporting guest luggage. The ability to remain professional, attentive, and welcoming throughout the shift is essential.
