Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Bellman/Driver at the Sheraton Galleria Dallas to greet guests, assist with luggage, and transport guests safely by shuttle. Qualifications

• This position requires driving the hotel shuttle within the local area.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and endure long periods of standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent level of service to guests.

• Obey traffic laws and follow procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with luggage and escort to elevators/rooms as needed.

Position Summary

The Bellman/Driver will greet guests and will provide courteous services such as opening doors, operating elevators, helping guests with luggage and helping control the guest traffic flow in the lobby. Safely transport guests between the hotel and various locations, providing courteous and timely service. Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering excellent level of service.
• Communicate and welcome guest in a friendly demeanor at all times.
• Maintains cleanliness of Sheraton Dallas Galleria entrance, lobby, and elevators areas.
• Transport guests safely by driving shuttle vans or other vehicles.
• Provide information regarding the local community upon request.
• Load and unload guest luggage and other materials.
• Complete required transportation logs.
• Report vehicle mechanical problems immediately.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure safety and security for our guests.
• Assist guests with their luggage, packages, etc.
• Open doors, assist with luggage, escort guests to elevators and to their rooms as needed.
• Continuously finds opportunities to assist guests, other departments or leaders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Qualifications

• This position will also include driving the hotel shuttle within the local area. A current & valid driver's license is required, with no moving violations on your driving record.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Driving record free of serious infractions.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
• Walking and standing for long periods of time and ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Frequent ability in standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping.
• High school diploma or equivalent related experience required.
