General Description:

Bellman/Drier assists guests with their luggage, transportation, and general guest service needs

Work Requirements:

Assist the Front Office team in reaching guest service and revenue goals

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and conversing with guests in a professional manner
  • Responsible for driving vehicle from hotel to appropriate destination according to assigned schedule
  • Carries guest luggage to and from vehicle
  • Obeys California State and city traffic laws
  • Keeps company vehicle in a clean and respectable condition
  • Listening and responding to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Maintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special event
  • Delivers amenities and other items to guest rooms
  • Assists guests with any other reasonable request

Job Requirements:

The ideal Driver candidate will have some previous Bell experience, exceptional communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a positive, upbeat individual who can deliver total guest satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Valid Class C driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive, clear speaking voice
  • Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand-upright for entire shift
  • Ability to type
  • Heavy work -exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 50 lbs of force frequently and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • Must arrive to work well groomed, with pristine hygiene, and professional attire

  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
