Job summary

Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, California, is seeking a guest services ambassador for a seasonal role at the resort. You will meet and greet guests, assist with valet services, and share information about rooms, the ski area and local surroundings.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of guest service or sales experience, and a valid California driver’s license. The position pays $17.00 hourly and offers equal opportunity employment plus assorted

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of guest service, public relations or sales experience.
• Hotel or Resort experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Meets and greets guests as they arrive at the resort.
• Opens car doors and welcomes guests to the hotel.
• Offers guests assistance with valet services and luggage.
• Removes luggage from cars and place on bell carts.
• Responsible for parking cars utilizing the valet service.
• Provides information about rooms, hotel, ski area and local area.
• Assists guests with valet parking.
• Provide guests with ski valet services.
• Assist the front desk with service delivery of newspapers, packages, and towels.
• Offers additional and concierge services.
• Sells hotel by offering property shows and answering general inquiries.
• Completes daily checklist to maintain the overall appearance of the hotel and guest experience; which includes but is not exclusive to snow shoveling, trash removal and light cleaning.
• Performs related services as requested by Front Desk and Management.
• Cross training in alternative departments and properties included.
