Job summary

Barnsley Resort in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Bell Captain to lead our bellstaff and deliver impeccable guest service. You will greet guests, assist with arrivals and departures, coordinate luggage handling, and ensure a seamless guest experience with knowledge of hotel facilities and local attractions.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, leadership, and a genuine hospitality mindset, with prior Guest Services or Bell experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Less than three moving violations in the three previous years.
• No DUI convictions.
• Must have current driver’s license where applicable.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Familiar with local area and attractions.
• One year prior Guest Services/Bell experience preferred.
• Valid CDL license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of bellpersons, fostering a culture of exceptional service and professionalism.
• Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing a warm and personalized experience.
• Coordinate luggage handling, transportation, and guest requests promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Ensure a seamless and efficient flow of luggage, packages, and guest belongings.
• Provide recommendations and assistance to guests, enhancing their overall stay.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
