Job summary

Winston Hospitality, Inc. in Thackerville, OK, is seeking a Bell Captain to lead the Bell team and ensure guests receive warm, attentive service.

Reporting to the Front Office Director, you will oversee daily Bell operations, develop teammates, manage staffing, and coordinate arrivals and departures with other departments. The role is full-time, day and afternoon shifts, with $14-16 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and ensure the Bell team delivers exceptional guest service.
• Supervise daily Bell operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and service standards.
• Welcome arriving guests and proactively anticipate their needs throughout their stay.
• Monitor lobby activity and adjust staffing to meet guest and business needs.
• Coordinate Bell operations for group arrivals, including luggage handling, tagging, tracking, and distribution.
• Create weekly schedules and conduct daily team huddles and departmental meetings.
• Coach and motivate team members while addressing performance and service concerns.
• Monitor guest feedback and scores and use that information to improve the guest experience.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, good judgment, and a commitment to finding solutions.
• Partner with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met and operations run smoothly.
• Maintain organized luggage areas, equipment, checklists, and training materials.
• Support hotel safety and security efforts and assist with operational audits and corrective action plans.
• Utilize technology and hotel systems to support daily operations and guest service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Ready to take the lead and create an exceptional first impression for our guests?

The Front Office is looking for a Bell Captain to help lead the Bell team and ensure every guest receives the warm, attentive, and professional service WinStar is known for.

Reporting to the Director of Front Office, the Bell Captain will help oversee daily Bell operations, support and develop team members, and serve as a key leader in creating a seamless arrival and departure experience for our guests.

What You’ll Do

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent movement throughout the hotel and may involve working both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures. The Bell Captain must be able to lift and carry 25–50 pounds and perform activities such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and gripping, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
