Job summary

The RIT Inn & Conference Center in Rochester, New York is seeking a friendly Bell Attendant to provide warm, professional guest service, assist with luggage, and support front desk operations. You will ensure safe and efficient shuttle transport and maintain shuttle vehicle cleanliness with daily inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must possess a clean and valid New York State driver’s license.
• Friendly, reliable, enthusiastic, articulate and social in demeanor.
• Ability to work independently or with others and maintain quality service.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage.
• Know hotel safety, security and emergency procedures and assist as needed.
• Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle.
• Maintain shuttle vehicle cleanliness and conduct daily inspections.
• Track service maintenance of vans and report needs.
• Coordinate luggage storage and guestroom deliveries; assist with snow removal.
• Assist with answering phones at the front desk during busy times.
• Promote hotel services and hours of operation to guests.
• Maintain ongoing communication with staff to ensure service excellence.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of lobby, front entrance and surrounding areas.
• Report deficiencies in lobby fixtures or equipment and ensure proper operation.
