Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Denver is seeking a Guest Services Attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and ensure every arrival and departure runs smoothly.

You will greet guests, escort them to rooms, shine shoes, deliver items to rooms, and support the concierge desk as needed in a busy urban retreat in the Mile High City, with 24-hour room service and premium amenities.

• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms.
• Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure.
• Moves luggage to storage or the Front Drive and maintains delivery records.
• Handles guest inquiries with hospitality and resolves issues when possible.
• Performs shoeshine service for guests.
• Collects guest requests for newspapers and delivers them promptly.
• Greets guests in the lobby and offers assistance.
• Performs errands for guests and hotel staff as needed.
• Complies with Four Seasons’ work rules and standards of conduct.

BASIC PURPOSE

Assists guest with luggage during arrival and departure, makes necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, transports guest and hotel packages and parcels. Shines guest shoes.

Essential Functions

• Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
• Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest.
• Collects guest requests for morning newspapers, places newspapers in bags and delivers the desired newspaper in a timely manner.
• Greets all guest passing through lobby and offers them assistance.
• Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property.

Non-essential Functions

• Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room.
• Assists guests at the Concierge Desk.
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Door Staff and Valet Parking Staff.
