Job summary

Vertical Mag is actively seeking a certified Bell 429 mechanic to diagnose, maintain, and repair Bell 429 helicopters in accordance with FAA regulations. The role emphasizes rotary-wing expertise and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualified candidates will hold an FAA A&P license (Airframe & Powerplant) with at least two years of rotorcraft maintenance experience, preferably including Bell 429 systems. On-site work in Charlotte, NC, with opportunities for training and certification updates.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license (Airframe & Powerplant) required.
• Minimum 2 years rotary-wing maintenance experience; Bell 429 experience preferred.
• Factory training on Bell 429 systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell 429 helicopters, including inspections, servicing, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with FAA aircraft requirements for airworthiness and safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and systems issues using inspection tools and test equipment.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to verify aircraft readiness.
• Perform repairs and replacements of components such as engines, rotors, landing gear, and avionics systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logbooks for regulatory compliance.
• Assist in fuel service operations.
• Participate in training and certification for new systems, procedures, or manufacturer updates.
