Textron’s Bell Maintenance Team in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic. Starting base is $37.10/hr with potential for higher starting wage for qualified candidates.

You’ll work at the OEM Facility handling a range from avionics upgrades to aircraft rebuilds, performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, fabrications, installations, and post-maintenance tests. The role requires FAA A&P certification, 4 years of helicopter maintenance experience (Bell models

Formación

• FAA A&P Certificate.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• 4 years of experience with helicopter maintenance.
• Maintenance experience with Bell helicopters (such as 429, 505, 407, 206) is preferred.
• Experience in a Part 145 environment is preferred.
• Technical expertise and basic computer skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and to exercise strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, strong sense of responsibility, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with others with attention to detail and following instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines in accordance with FAA 145 requirements.
• Perform major sheet metal repairs and fabricate sheet metal and composite parts when needed.
• Install kits and assist with fly-offs.
• Ensure all work is documented per instructions and regulatory requirements.
