University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Behavioral Threat Management Coordinator to serve as the central coordinator for behavioral threat management activities involving students, employees, and visitors. The role oversees report intake, information gathering, and coordination of follow-up actions in collaboration with the Threat Assessment Team.

Qualifications

• At least one year in threat assessment, behavioral intervention, student/employee support, case management, public safety, or crisis response. Master’s can substitute for one year of experience.
• Experience managing sensitive information, maintaining records, coordinating responses, and supporting reports involving students, employees, or community members.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate report intake, screening, and management for threat assessment referrals.
• Maintain active reports with monitoring, tracking, and coordinating interventions.
• Assist with behavioral threat assessments using information gathering and structured professional judgment.
• Maintain documentation within report management and database systems.
• Manage the Threat Assessment Program email and related communications.
• Support Threat Assessment Team meetings with materials and documentation.
• Conduct educational and outreach activities related to threat assessment and violence prevention.
• Develop and update program resources, templates, and educational materials.
• Support administrative functions including database management, records retention, and policy review.
