Delta-T Group is seeking Behavioral Technicians (BT/RBTs) for opportunities in the greater Hartford, CT area including Rocky Hill, West Hartford, Newington, East Hartford and Bloomfield.

As a BT you will support students under BCBA-guided plans, document progress, and collaborate with teachers and BCBA on adjustments. Opportunities range from 2 months to the school year end, with 30–38 hours per week and weekly pay.

Competenze

• RBT certification preferred; 40 hours RBT study or relevant autism/behavioral experience; opportunities across pre-K to high school.
• A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree is helpful, but BT experience is more important.

• As a BT you will work closely with students to build their trust and apply a BCBA's plans for each child.
• You will prepare notes and report back to the BCBA on the effectiveness of the BCBA's Behavior Plans for reassessment & possible Plan Modifications.

Our Client is looking for Behavioral Technicians (BT/RBTs) for opportunities located in the greater Hartford, CT area including the West Hartford, Rocky Hill, Newington, East Hartford and Bloomfield suburbs.

CLIENT HOURS

Our Clients can accommodate full schedule between 30-38 hrs / week

Monday -Friday - Typical School Hours. We have opportunities currently from as short as 2 months to others that run through the end of the school year.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Some opportunities need an Actual Registered Behavior Tech (RBT), but other opportunities welcome someone who has completed the 40 hours of RBT Study OR just has strong experience working with Children with Autism or Children with Behavioral Issues. Since we have opportunities in pre‑K, elementary, middle and high schools, we should be able to accommodate your preferred grade/age to work with.
• A Bachelors' or Associates Degree is helpful, but actual BT experience is more important than the education.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• As a BT you will work closely with students to build their trust and apply a BCBA's plans for each child.
• You will prepare notes and report back to the BCBA on the effectiveness of the BCBA's Behavior Plans for reassessment & possible Plan Modifications.
• Depending on the child, it could be working with a child on his focus on the work, ability to stay engaged in the class work or with more severe behavioral issues, implement redirection techniques to curb any issues the child is exhibiting.

You will interact regularly with a BCBA, the child's teachers and other staff members.
