Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed).
• Must be able to pass Level One Medication Aide Certification within 1 month of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing basic health care for clients including administering medication after certification.
• Maintain a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for client care and treatment activities.
• Read, learn and implement person-centered plans and behavior support plans for multiple individuals.
• Assist in training facility staff on implementation of behavioral interventions.
• Respond to crisis situations at any hour of the shift.
• Observe clients, collect data and record behavior in tracking system for analysis.
