Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services Spokane is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism, supporting social and communication skills and tracking progress. The role focuses on implementing individualized plans in a supervised setting.

You will document milestones, collaborate with a BCBA, and contribute to consistent progress for each child while benefiting from competitive pay, health benefits, and team support.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills with families and team members.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of related coursework or 1 year experience with children in relevant roles.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones for ongoing treatment.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
