Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Malibu, CA is seeking a Behavioral Tech I to observe and report on client behavior while implementing structure in daily programming. The role is full-time and on-site with a swing shift from 1pm to 12:30am.

You will facilitate clients' daily needs, conduct safety checks, and support transportation and documentation, working closely with staff to maintain a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of drug/alcohol dependency and mental health issues.
• Up to one year of previous work experience preferred.
• Liaises with facility staff, clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates clients' daily needs per the program schedule.
• Conducts property searches of clients as required.
• Performs urine drug screening testing of clients as required.
• Provides transportation services including client transportation/supervision, errands, shopping, pick-ups etc.
